I’m a sophomore and for college I will need letters of recommendation from my teachers. in two years. If this years I will get recommendations from three teachers and then move to another school and get recomendations from another teacher also ,will universities accept recommendations from ALL the highschools that Ive been? (maximum two) ? or will they only accept recommendations from the teachers of my last high school were I actually graduated.,??

thank you

It depends. Some will specific that the teacher has to be within the last two years of high school, but others won’t. Get the letters from teachers now, who know you well. Then, continue to work hard when you move and begin new relationships with the teachers at your next school. You can also use letters from your current teachers for scholarships, now and later.

Be sure to get contact information from the teachers who wrote letters this year, when you move. Many colleges are now having teacher recommendations done via email or on a website, and you’ll need to be able to contact your support system when you move.

Good luck!
