Really really nervous?

You will probably be ahead of everyone in public school in regards to your other subjects.
You didn’t have any outside hobbies that exposed you to other kids your age while you were being homeschooled during this time? Do you have siblings?
It will be hard to get used to and being nervous is natural. The only tip I can give you for fighting with that is just try taking slow deep breaths to calm yourself down.
You are going to have to get used to it, but it will be good for you since you haven’t been around your peers for such a long time. You’ll be more prepared when you enter college, and the work force.
Best of luck to you.
1) Know that you’re okay the way you are.
2) Have faith in your ability to adapt and learn to play the social games that go on, or to step aside and do your own thing if the social games are morally questionable.
3) Know it’s okay to be nervous. Accept it. It’d be really weird if you weren’t nervous.
4) Find out about what science and history was learned in middle schools where you live and read up about them a bit during the summer. Or, find out what you’d be learning in science and history your freshman year and do a little review of that material before school starts. Or do both.
5) Accept that you’re nervous. I know I’ve already written it, but it’s really, really important! It’s okay to be nervous and have butterflies and all that.
6) Think of the whole thing as an adventure. Imagine it as a visit to another planet, if that’ll help. 🙂 You stay observant, you try to conform a bit to the general expectations, you do as asked by teachers and you’ll be fine.
