Question about cyber schooling?

My mom might let me get cyber schooled next year. I really want this to happen, but my mom is not 100% positive. Could everyone say good things about being cyber schooled so I can show my mom? And if you have a website about it, please give it to me. Thanks!

the best way to convince a parent that it is the best program for you is to work through your local school district.

You can call the school district on your own, and explain what you need. They will make it very hard for you to get what you need, because they want “this is the way we’ve always done it”.It is up to you to make them help you. Be very persistent, but not rude. Say “If you can’t help me, let me talk to someone who can”.

Depending on your cyber school you will have little change in the syllabus and schedule that you have in a brick and mortar school. You do get some leeway on the scheduling though. You will get a diploma just like regular school.

Many benefits of cyber schooling include less time stuck at school more time for extra curricular activities, less negative influence by peers a better chance to develop as an individual, and less bullying and better social opportunities.

Ask Mom to let you prove yourself for a semester….do the work and she lets you continue. If you don’t do the work it will prove to both you and your mom that it is not the right path for you.

it teaches you to be responsible, because if you are’nt then you will get bad grades and stuff….some schools let you go at your own pace…so you can finish the course in however much time you need…preferably faster…you don’t have to deal with all the class drama/school drama…which could be fun sometimes, unless you really want to focus on your studies…you can also take a break whenever you want, you know eat, sleep, do other stuff…..and less chances of mixing with the bad crowd, you know…and stuff like that…less chances of you becoming involved in some big school drama that you could get in trouble for, probably spend less money on outfits for school, since you will be staying home more…less money on school supplies, and stuff like that…if you cant drive yet…your mom can save money on gas if she has to drive you to school…or something like that…

Ask your mom if you can just do like a semester online or something…or start out with one class then add more.. then you can show your mom that its working out for you…or if it isnt……
