I have been to both extremes..i was at the worst public school in the area and overal wasnt very happy despite the fact I had loyal friends there! So one day, out of the blue I left there and only told my close friends and no one else which was awful because everyone asked questions and made a huge deal out of it, although they all ignored me when I was at the school..So two weeks later I started at the most exspensive private school in the area…first month or two I loved it..the school seamed just how they described it…they sed “we nurture the individual” (sorry cant spell nurture lol) well! 6 months later I walk in on all my so called friends completly gossiping about me…saying some awful things…my world fell apart..these were the people who I spent all my time with, my so called friends! The teachers didnt care anymore…they ignored me in class despite the fact there was a maxium of 10 people in the class..they just didnt help me! and well, as for nurturing the individual! HA..they treated every1 like a heard of sheep! and where was all these thousands of pounds we were spending each year going! we couldnt even afford 5 new computers and had to use windows 95..and never went on trips because apparently they didnt have enough money! couldnt afford air con or anything! and to make it worse we had saturday school! and most of the time the teachers didnt turn up anyway! So! …here I am a year and a half later and im moving school again! Now i no i have moaned about the private school most but Im not prepared to go back to my old public school..but the other day I looked round a school, and spent 3 days having a taster day! they dont wear uniform, we call the teachers by there first names, its laid back, loads of trips, encouragment, and iv made friends already! and i havent even started!
ok! So i havent realy told people im leaving, iv have told some, but to be honest I couldnt be happier with my choice!
Yer, u may be wondering…yes it is private! but hey! if they can garantee these grades they have promised and i may acctually be happy..im all for it!!
lol…proberly only stay for a year anyway..i really do just love fresh starts haha

Public school can be good but it really varies by school in most countries. look for a low teacher to student ratio and try to ask parents of other students how it is. Private School is usually a high quality education though some may be a bit soft while others to harsh so look around. Some websites offer school reviews so check those out. Most do have uniforms but instead of shopping at a specialty place just try a place like walmart or othe department store. make sure they arent going to fall apart though. uniforms may add another 150-200 us dollars though think about it your child will probably be asking for the “cool” clothing anyways which will probably be more expensive. Its a personal choice so try to look at each equally and consider advantages and disadvantages.

Private schools is the norm for higher passes and not all private schools wear uniforms but its best to check as this can add a far bit of money on top of the fee´s.
