Pls,how can i get a SAT score of between 1800 and 2100?

I got a 2200+ on my SAT exam. This is how I did. I took a course with Kaplan for 900 bucks,but it was complete garbage. Eventually, I bought two review books and used those to study. I bought tutorfox.com’s sat guide and the princeton review’s sat guide. I read through both books about twice and did tons of practice for the exam. Try using those books…GOOD LUCK, let me know if you need any help and/or information.

My question is, when did they raise the score so high? It used to be 1600 was perfect. Wow, anyway, considering the scoring system now to how it used to be, I probably scored about a 1900 or more? There is no easy way to score high, unless youre a magnificent test taker, I would recommend hitting up your local barnes n nobles, checking their study sections, and those will have guides for studying(found my book for my nursing exam, there, and almost the same thing as the SATS!) Oh, and to enhance your vocab, READ READ READ. With a dictionary at your side, as silly as that may sound, but youll be suprised at how many words you will learn!

There are books on Amazon that help with SAT vocabulary. The best one is The Wizard of Oz vocabulary builder. 2000 SAT words appear highlighted and in context and with definitions at the bottom of the page. There is also a Pinocchio companion book. There are two flip-o-matic SAT vocabulary flash card books that we use as well.

I like the idea of using two prep books and working through both of them.

Purchase The Official SAT Study Guide which is made by collegeboard. There is detailed refreshment at the beginning of the book for all three sections of the SAT. Only thing that is not prevalent is vocabulary expansion. At the end there are 8 practice tests so you can test your progress.

Get the book, “Up Your Score” it is written by kids who got perfect scores on the SAT. I just got it and it’s really funny (so it isn’t as boring as all the other SAT study guides) and it’s full of amazing tips. It’s suposed to guarantee a higher score. Also do as many practice tests as possible. Good Luck!

Just take practice tests. You can find them at the bookstore and what not. Princeton Review makes it look a bit easier. Once you get into the rhythm of taking the test, you’ll feel like you know what to do a lot better. And if you score way below what you desire, don’t be discouraged – you can just work on areas that you seem to need help on.

i got 1820 on mine…i got a tutor in math(not to teach me the subject exactly, but he gave me techniques on how to solve them fast and gave me practice in the different types of probs there are), and i also bought the big blue book “guide to the New SAT”, a title something like that. it also helps that im naturally pretty good at correcting sentences, vocab, and writing.

practice as much as you can,take as many practice tests as possible because the more familiar you are with the questions increases your chances at your desired score.
