Talk about each year of your life, each school year, each pet, each sibling, etc. Talk about your parents and family members. Speak of trips you have taken and your educational experience. Mention your favorite things to do, favorite music (and why), and just facts about you. That’s usually what an autobiography consists of. Your life story. Just start out describing yourself and then lead into talking about the main events in your life thus far.

Start with your earliest memories. Then discuss your home life.

Write about the first time you rode a bike or a trike. Write about the first time you went to school. The first time you broke your arm or leg.

Next write about any exciting trips or vacations you may have gone on with your family.

Also include a section on your friends and relatives.

Discuss school and how well that you are doing.

I think that you get the picture by now.

On a sheet of scrap paper:

Write down 10 happy memories and 10 unhappy memories

Put all 20 memories in order.

IN your essay:

Write about each memory and why that memory/event is important to you.

At the end:

Write about your plans, hopes, and dreams for the future.

I attended __ school and enjoyed ___. Talk about your hobbies and interests or awards you have received. Talk about different jobs you’ve had…pets, accomplishments. Good luck!
