Personal Fitness Trainer schools accredited for Financial Aid in or near Chicago?
my friend is 19 and has been working out for a few years and is very into it. NO STEROIDS NO CRAP LIKE THAT! He tried community college after high school graduation, but had no interests, at that time, he didn’t know what he wanted to dedicate himself to, but after getting fit and really liking it, he has decided to pursue a certificate as a personal fitness trainer, and then maybe LATER after working awhile, go back for a fullblown 2 or even 4+ year degree, but he has been having difficulty finding accredited schools or programs, so he can get financial aid ,he lives in Chicago.

To receive financial aid you must be enrolled in a degree seeking program. My guess is the trainer schools he is looking into do not award degrees. That is why he is having problems finding eligible schools. Have him look into 2- and 4-year schools that offer athletic training degrees and are eligible financial aid programs. They are probably close enough to what he is interested in pursuing. Otherwise, he may need to pay for the trainer school out of pocket.
