Must students pay for thier I.D cards in the Los Angelos Unified School District?

( ie: LAUSD sites, booklets, regulations, handbooks, or LAUSD Policies or regulations. . )

There is no official lausd policy. The option is left up to the school site. Often an agreement is made between the school and the photography company. We have had years where we get ID cards, others where we do not. Our school sets our policy – it has been first card free, 1.00 if you lose it.

In our district all students get their first I.D. free.
If they lose, damage, or deface it, then they mus t pay for a replacement ($5.00)
