A good-paying job possibility is a Translator for an internationally based company. You’d be expected to know business level(very polite) Japanese, and you’d have to be very fast at hearing something in one language and being able to re-say it in the other.

A good minor for that would be buisness.

If you’re looking for a teaching job, you could major in teaching(I don’t think you can minor in that, can you?) and minor in Japanese and teach it at a school, and even move to Japan and teach English there.

Japanese companies don’t care your major unless they hire you as the scientist or incomparable engineer.
