is this a good idea to move Germany?

How good is your German? Do you think you are already able to follow class in German?
If the answer to this question is “you don’t think you are or will be able to follow class in German at the time when you move to Germany” I strongly suggest not to move to Germany.
You will have enough challenges with culture shock that you don’t need the additional challenge with not understanding your teachers in school.
If you think your German is already good enough or will be good enough at that time to follow classes taught in German go for it. Talk with your relatives about the closest school that fits your requirements. This most probably will be a “Gymnasium”. Ask them about the German school system and the requirements. Depending on the “Land” where they live “Gymnasium” might have additionally to the 12th a 13th grade. Make sure you ask them as well about how the last years of school are organized – what are your choices, what is mandatory, etc.
Can you become fluent in that short a time? It would mean a lot of work on your part.
Didn’t you ask a previous question about moving to
Germany? I think I suggested you contact the Embassy in Ottawa to find out if it would be costly for you to go to school there. Since you plan to live with relatives, why not ask them to contact the school you would be attending and see what your tuition fees would be.
Good luck to you.
Are your relatives near a Goethe Institut?
That would be an ideal place to build your German language skills.
Viel Spass!
