No not really. You can work at WalMart in the back (stocking and stuff) that way you dont have to be around the public. You can also try handy work like lawn cutting, etc.

Depending on where you live…big city vs rural….

1. Walking other peoples dogs in the park when they don’t have time.

2. Mowing lawns, weeding flower beds, washing the outside windows, for the elderly.

3. Driving a truck on a farm during harvest.

4. Picking fruit in an orchard.

5. Check your local newspaper to find some short-term seasonal work, such as at the park or zoo.

Wishing you good luck. Practice being around other people, they are going to be around from now on and you can’t be a loner all your life.

Some lawn maintenance companies will hire teenagers during the busy summer season. Also, warehouse or stock/inventory clerks usually don’t deal too much with the public. You could try those…

Do you have a green thumb? How about lawn mowing or basic gardening in your local neighbourhood? Ask your parents if you can put up some fliers advertising that you are willing to mow peoples lawns and do some basic gardening?

why not do yard work in local neighborhoods….most people can always use a little help – besides that you’ll be able to work alone and at your own pace without all the crap that comes with working in some other places…..good luck!

don’t be picky. it’s hard getting a job nowadays if you don’t have any hook-ups or connections. believe me, i’m 16 and currently looking for a part-time job and i’ll take anything that calls me back lol. see at it this way, money is money and it takes money to make money. Just look forward to that paycheck

well no matter you where you work, you may have to work with the public. Try working somewhere that you would have to work like in a warehouse or stocking shelves somewhere. Or mow lawns.

You can always become a dogwalker. The people usually aren’t home when you go to walk them, and you can always tell people the dog doesn’t like strangers if they try to approach you when you’re walking it. Also, my boyfriend tells me that our dogs are chic magnets, so you can work and meet girls.
