‘Welcome’ is also a verb.

He welcomes me. (present)

They welcome me. (present)

If you’re talking about the present,”Mike and Joe welcome the band” is correct.

You can say what you want. Stores were the first to make the change to Happy Holidays because… simply…. Christmas is not the only holiday that happens this time of yr. Christianity is not the only religion celebrated. it was NOT changed because it was “offensive” because many people of different walks of life say “Merry Christmas”. Please people, quit watching O’Reilly like he’s your saviour. He made a HUGE thing out of this blaming “liberals, atheists and pagans” for this change and it had NOTHING to do with us. It had everything to do with the stores including EVERYONE during this time of yr. The man is a friggin liar and does these things to gain ratings….. and a lot of you fall for it.

Welcomes is the singular form of the verb; welcome is plural. You have a plural subject (Mike and Joe), so you use the plural form of the verb (welcome).

Welcome. Mike and Joe welcome the band to their home. THEY welcome the band to their home. SHE welcomeS.
