Whether or not it’s hard depends on how good you are in math – it’s not an intensive math course by any stretch of the imagination. Most universities refer to the stats courses that all social science majors have to take as “Baby stats” or “Stats for people who can’t count past 10” because the only thing taught is what you’d need to know in order to read and comprehend clinical studies, or what you’d need to know to design and implement an experiment yourself.
Don’t let a stats course scare you away from the social sciences if that’s a major you’re considering.
