i’d say it’s an ordinary word
maybe if it is combined with some nice adverbs to tell what KIND of sweet it is it could be vivid… but otherwise, yes, ordinary – though it has it’s place

Sounds ordinary to me. Vivid is used to describe something associated with sight or an image.

Hmm, I never thought “vivid” was limited to sight. I thought vivid words were ones that evoke additional images and feelings, so “sweet” should count as vivid.

I’d say definitely ordinary. It’s over-used and obviously not “vivid”, as it can be used to describe pretty much anything you want it to.

As the poser of this Q has the ‘moniker’ “in love”, I would say to him/her that ‘sweet’ is very ‘vivid’.
If one is in love, per se, everthing is “sweet”, including the lovely curves of his ladies figure or(as a man, I will not comment) those endowments of her man, as it were.
The circumstance dictates the ‘power’ of the adjective.
