Is it normal for students to visit their professors just for fun (you know not on business)?

It all depends , I would not call it abnormal, however it may give the wrong impression to others if you overdo it . Twice a week is a bit ‘heavy’ and perhaps you could cut it back some ? I had students drop in on me a lot but never on a regular basis . They even came back after a year or two when they passed through and looked me up as a surprise .Now, I have to admit that it made me feel very special and I felt well liked and appreciated. Nothing wrong with that . But, a steady parade into his office is not so swift . Do you really want this kind of attention?

Time to call it quits or at least cut it down some . LOL

Of course it is normal to just “drop in” on a favorite professor. Don’t know what’s wrong with the secretary.

She Bee — you can visit the professor anytime day or night. Make an appointment at his house for a little party and some laffs. I’m sure he will correct that bad grade and let you stay over.

If the relationship stays platonic and strictly about school business it is fine. However, most schools have policies forbidding faculty and staff to “fraternize” with students. So this relationship cannot become a friendship or romantic one.

Hell yeah its fine. One of my favorite professors I visited everyweek during his office hours and we would have tea and biscotti and talk politics. What a great time lol.

I wouldn’t worry about his secretary. She probably just thinks you two are having an affair.

You should probably stop annoying him… Also, he probably doesn’t like that his colleagues are making fun of him saying that you are his little mistress.

How about finding a boy your own age?
