Is I retake a class, how is it calculated into my culmative GPA?
I am thinking about taking the only two courses that I made C’s in. If I retake these courses, will the grade that I receive the second time be averaged in with the first grade, for a new grade? Or will only the second grade be used in calculating GPA? I know either way, that first grade will be on my transcript.

It depends on your university’s rules. Contact your university’s registrar’s office.
At my university, I think only the highest score is factored into the GPA.
