IQ test???

It is neither good nor bad. People make the mistake of thinking that IQ tests mean more than they do. It simply means that on the test you took, you scored higher than 25% of the population. This does not mean that you can’t increase it. You are in the category of low average at the moment, but unlike most people think, this is not an unchangeable score. The scale uses 100 as as dead center, but average is considered to be between 89 and 111 in which 50% of people fall. That means that 25% of population is below “average” and 25% is above. Remember when looking at your score that IQ tests are fallible. One test is not enough to gauge a person’s actual intelligence quotient.

If you took an online test, it probably wasn’t completely accurate. Online tests are notorious for being inaccurate.

The average score for American IQ tests is 100. A score of 89 is better than about 25% of Americans.

It is low normal,but don’t worry overly much.The test for an IQ level is specific to some areas.If you feel that 89 is too low and want to raise it–read.Do not worry about math,the test is based upon knowing what the question is.

Read like your life depends on it,read the hard stuff.Such as novels like Fathers and Sons by Turgenev.

It will train your mind in ways that nothing else will.If you can read and comprehend Crime and Punishment,you are fine in the IQ department.

If you can get through the thing,then your persistence is way above average.(It is a load of bricks to work through).

Some days my IQ is about 80,because of serious sicknesses,like diabetes.

Other days it is 115 or so,because of manic-depression.It does change from day to day.

It means very little unless it was a standardized IQ test. The best way to compare with others is to look at average performance for that test. If you took the test from a website then check through the website. However, Average american IQ is 100; 70 IQ is regarded as mild mental retardation.

Well depending on the IQ test you took I would use that number as your correct IQ number I have mine done through someone through a college and mine is 179 and I love that my score is that high. But for the average adults the IQ is 96-109 and that is average so I would make sure the test you took is right by gtting it doen through someoen who can really tell you your IQ number these internet sites that give you your IQ through some tests is a rough average of what your IQ is and its really rough. So I would see about talking to someone to see what your true number will be. Have fun I sure do when I get mine done every 5 years.

Well, it’s not enough to get you into the International High IQ Society. You would need at least a score of 124 to get in.

Most Americans score below average.

If you go to www.iqtest.com, look on the right side of the page you will see something like “What does my score mean?” Then click where it say to see a test score comparision chart. Then it will tell you.

I dunno bout any on line yet final time I did an IQ attempt mine replaced into 126. the popular is one thousand, and its rather cool having one larger than the popular, yet curiously my sister’s IQ is 146, and it kinda aggravated me 🙁

I believe 100 is average for an adult.

well.. mine is 75 (first try just 71!)
