In english, what does the Japanese word ” Reiji ” sound like?
Well…I bought a sword online based off of the Anime Bleach. Ichigo’s Tensa Zangetsu. But I wanted to rename it something unique. So I found Reiji Kiba. Reiji meaning Midnight and Kiba meaning Fang.
I.E. The Midnight Fang
However, I am not fluent in Japanese Proununciation and I need to know how to pronounce the term ” Reiji “.

It is pronounced like “ray-jee”.
In Japanese, when you have “ei” it is pronounced like a long “eh” sound, not separately like “ay-ee”.

1. In terms of “Reiji Kiba”, Reiji sounds like ï½irst name (a Japanese name for male) and Kiba sounds like a family name of Japanese. (Mr. Reiji Kiba /eg. æ¨å ´ï¼kibaï¼ä»¤å¸(reiji) éºäº(reiji) 礼äºï¼reiji))
2. Japanese study English at least middle and high school, and many of them are not very good at distinguish “R” and “L”sounds. In this point of view, Reiji sounds similar to “Lazy” to some Japanese people.
