In college, can you request a dorm with another person, speciffically, another person of the opposite sex?
The question pretty much covers it.
I’m just wondering.

I believe that many schools allow incoming freshmen to request a roommate if they already know a friend who will be attending the same school. My school did as well as all the schools my friends/family went to. As far as requesting an opposite sex roommate… No. Except in the case of married students, I can almost guarantee that no school will allow you to room with another sex. Which is cumbersome when you find yourself in my situation of having basically all female friends.

I doubt it. You can request a same-sex roommate though.

Depends on the school. also most of the time you have to be a junior or senior to do this.

No, you have to recruit one after you get there.
For someone as bright and handsome as you are, it shouldn’t be hard. I mean, look at that avatar.

some colleges allow it but they tend to only offer it only to married couples.
