Can the person you called call their phone company and find out your last name just from your phone number?

Generally, no, they can not. The phone companies are pretty tight on personal identity security. While it is possible for some professions to get that information, by and large, for the common people, no. That said, it can be obtained by one of the search engines, such as the Yahoo “white pages” that allow for name searches based on telephone number.

If the caller has called before, they don’t even have to call the company. Their phone will tell them who it was (or is).

yes they can but im sure there are security things they need to awnser or the easier way is to call back the person and wait til voicemail
