i wanna get the apple iphone….?
i wanna get the iphone. is it possible for me to just walk into the store and buy one with cash? my parents said i can get it, but they wont buy me phone service cause i already have a cingular phone with a 2 year contract. so if i buy the iphone without buying phone service, can i do anything with it like internet? and will they allow me to buy it without just like that witout a getting phone service on it? thanks

They won’t allow you to buy the phone without signing up for a 2 year contract. And it’s a really bad idea to buy one now. In general, 1st generation Apple products have lots of problems, which get resolved as newer generations come out (see iPod). Wait 2 yrs for your plan to expire and then get the iPhone, when they have improved the internet connectivity, etc.
