There are many steps involved. Do a search for a division tutorial. Here are a couple of links, but maybe you can find one that works better for you.

do you know Maths is very easy.you should just understand the logic of maths.see for division with large number you must always know multiplication.if it is 5 dijit number take the number and multiply it example-29divided by 10023.
in 29 10 will not go so take 100.in 29 how much time is 100
write the multiplied numbeer on top and the answer down sub the answer from 100.do for all numbers

Let’s take a sample problem.
35/700
Divide 35 into 70 and then put your answer above the second digit in 700. (In this case it would be 2).
Next divide 35 into the remaining number which is zero. Since 35 goes into zero, 0 times the answer is zero for that step.
In conclusion the answer is 20.
