I ended up going in as an undecided biology major, so the first semester I took bio, chem, and calculus for that. I enjoyed the bio but I really had no interest in the others….so the 2nd semester I took a variety of classes…history, psych, english, economics.

I still had no idea what to do after the first yr!!!…I ended up taking a sociology course the next fall….I really enjoyed it and ended up majoring in sociology. I was able to take a variety of courses that had to do with healthcare which I enjoyed. In addition…I took a bunch of electives dealing with child psych and abnormal psych…all which were interesting.

Basically, the majority of students entering college have no idea what they want to do!! And many of them will choose a major and later go onto a career that has nothing to do with it. College is one of the best experiences you will have….just go in open-minded and take as many different classes as you can…you are bound to come upon something that really sparks an interest!!!
