I miss all my practical teachers.. What should I do?

By all means contact them. Most schools have websites where you can email the teachers. Check out your school and connect with your old teachers.

I’m a teacher and teachers love to hear from former students. We are always thinking, “I wonder what ever happened to…” It is even a more delight when teachers hear from a kid who was a “jerk” that they turned out ok.

I’m sure your teachers still have “jerks” right in their classrooms today. Maybe they can read an email from a former student like you to the class and it might help some of those troubling kids to appreciate their education more. Maybe your former teachers would like you to stop by and say hi to their current students.

I think it would be a good experience for both you and your former teachers if you contact them.

I had a few favorite teachers I wish I had said nice things about how they made my school life easier and fun. I miss them, and still think of them often though I am now in my early forties. I still think of my primary, middle school and high school teachers. I am always wondering whatever happened to them, if they are still teaching or if they are retired already, or have changed professions. I wish I could tell them now how much they have impacted and influenced me growing up.

I think we all go through this…I literally sat down and wrote letters to my old teachers…not like with an apology, but just to thank them, and say how they had impacted my life. I think this meant a lot to them, and I know how much it meant to me.

If you see them, just a little greeting to the teachers can make you feel better & also them too.
