I’m looking at Studying Psychology in NJ USA. Where do I start?

It’s very difficult to separate the wheat from the shaft. There are a lot of colleges offering various courses in Psychology, some online, some campus and some blended. I have two questions in mind:

1. How do I tell that the degree I receive from this college will be of some value?

2. Is it any good to do a course that offers blended learning oprions? (online studying for most times combined with classroom learning at regular intervals)
