i heard university of phoenix is considered a fly by night school and companies don’t accept their degree, ?

Be very careful. If you’re going for an MBA or something similar, the first question is why you couldn’t go to an accredited school.

im not sure to how true that is but there was a site (i forget what it was called) where people went on to complain about companies and i read many a bad thing about university of phoenix on there and there were people who said they were acually laughed at in the job interview because their degree was from there

I haven’t personally taken any of their courses & probably won’t ever do so. However, I know a couple of really bright people who did (including an HR person). If I had occassion to hire someone who took courses there, I would give them due consideration.

I heard this, too, and wouldn’t even consider going there.
