I currently work for a london university as a BA but want to work in the US?
What steps can i go in achieving such a move.

Just move to the US and apply at a University.

You need to contact the US Universities that you are interested in and see if they are looking to hire someone with your qualifications. Most (if not all) US colleges hire people from foreign countries and they are well versed in the need for a visa and all you would need to get in order to work in the United States.
