I call up David’s house and how to tell the person who answers me that I want to talk with David?
1. I call up David’s house and how to tell the person who answers me that I want to talk with David? Without using traditional “May I speak to David”, “Is David available” questions.
2. Someone call me up and ask for David. How shall I ask who is speaking? Like “Who is on the line sir” and “May I know who I am talking to”

1. hello, David please… OR hi, i’ld like to speak to David. OR hello. David? (if answerer says yes, continue talking to him. if answerer says no, say: i’ld like to speak to David.)
2. who is that on the line? OR who’s on the line? OR may i know who’s calling? OR who’s calling? OR what’s your name? OR excuse me, but what’s your name? OR name please…
