I am working on getting a degree in ele. education, after this I want to continue on to get my masters.?
I am very interested in teaching students who have hearing and site problems. Does anyone know what the need is for teachers like this?

Being in the educarion field i can tell you that their is always a need for special needs teachers that work with children with a variety of disabilities,. It takes a very special kind of person to work with these type of children. Good luck and thanks for wanting to do this type of work…

There is always a need for qualified special education teachers. Unfortunately, school districts do not always pay what these special teachers are worth. Thus the shortage.
That said, I think that you have an admirable goal.

Wow! That is a great goal. My advice is get that masters degree for sure…before you have kids of your own. Yes, there is a demand for teachers of the deaf and blind. many schools specialize in them and lots of schools hire one person to come in to teach. Good luck! Go for it!
