I am trying to find metaphors from other cultures and there meaning?
I am stuck on this, i am literally banging my head against the wall but for some reason can’t come up with a single metaphor from another culture.

The ears and tail of a bear.
The reason a bear has short ears is that he was starving, and some farmers wanted to feed him honey. He didn’t want any, so they pulled him toward the honey so hard, they tore off part of his ears. He liked the honey so much, he wouldn’t leave, so they pulled on his tail so hard, part of it tore off.
This is a metaphor for people who resist very stubbornly and then can’t be pulled away.
