how to be popular?
im starting high school in the fall. the high school is attached to the middle school so its all the same people. obviously though, the classes have all be swapped around. at middle school i was in a “friendship group” of 5 people and the staff at the school said they would “take friendships into consideration”. well, let me tell you, they did. they put 4 of our group in one class and me in another. its okay though, i think it might actually be a blessing in disguise really. anyway, i had quite a few friends at the middle school but none of the really popular people were in our class but now im in a class with them. i’ve talked to them often enough but i just thought how could i be friends with them?

you’re taking the wrong approach. don’t worry about ‘being popular’. just make a few friends and have a good time. be yourself.

OK the honest truth is that besides the fact your friends are probably better then the popular crowd if you want to be the average mean preppy girl. but if u wanna be a fake buy expensive clothing (Abercrombie, Holister, Sugerlips, Junk Food, Juicy etc…), dont talk to other social crowds ( nerds, geeks, punks, emos, goths, “losers”) only talk to jocks and other popular people, complain about things the others are complaing about, and boost whenever possible…. its better to be yourself and make real friends

So your saying that you dont want to be with your FRIENDS just because there not popular, because If I am your a ignorant fool that I despise. Only thing worse than that is people who think there better than you when there clearly not.

please don’t try to be friends with everyone, cuz everyone isn’t your friend, they’ll just end up screwing you over. keep the real friends that you’ve had since you were in middle school, cuz you know that you can trust them. if you have an opportunity to meet more people, do it, but there are more people and more things to do in high school, keep the real friends through it all and you’ll be fine.
