Wow! How’d you get a 2550 out of 2400 on the SAT? Well, your SAT grades are only a portion of what colleges look at. With your extremely high grade, colleges are sure to be impressed! However, your SAT grade will have to be compromised with your class grades, which also count a lot. If you’re a junior, then it’s better for you to engage in extracurricular activities over the summer. Try to improve your grades senior year-that trend is what colleges look for. Wish you the best of luck!

The SAT is only a test that is supposed to show admissions committes how well you may do in your school. It doesn’t mean you will do well- it just assumes that a good score translates to doing well. Sometimes a higher SAT score means that you do not have to take some entry level classes. You can go ahead and skip College Algebra and go straight tp Trig- that sort of thing.

An SAT score is a predictor of college success. A lot of college is just test-taking, so if you’re good at tests, you should do fine in college. Getting into college with that D is gonna be the hard part for you.

It doesn’t help you in your grades at all. High SAT scores show that either you’re real good at test taking, or real lucky at guessing. What it really shows is that you obviously aren’t applying yourself in school. Because if you spent 1/10th the effort on your school work that you do on your test taking you wouldn’t be having this problem.

The SAT only goes up to 2400. Nice try.
