The formula for the difference of two cubes is:

x^3 – y^3 = (x – y)(x^2 + xy +y^2)

so Your problem works out like this:

(4x -2)(16x^2 + 8x +4)

Sorry I don’t have the time to figure out the polynomial…

To factor something with a cube, just have one of the factors be ax^2 and another ax. (a stands for a coeffiecent)
