How do I revise these sentences?

Ok My boyfriend Ted (33 yo) saw his ex girlfriend out and he said hi to her to break the ice, he never got closure from relationship and is happy he finally had a few words with her and got closure. Now he said he hopes maybe he can establish a “friendship” with her. I do understand hes happy he got closure but want to tell him this and want to reword it better in a sweet, nnot seeming jealous way. I can’t tell him in person since he lives far away.

OK want to reword this and tell him this in a note but dont want to sound jealous- just concerned for him. Please reword what I wrote any writers or people with good grammar thanks:

I am happy for you you got closure you were seeking.. I can understand you wanted approval but now let it be that way. I want to let him know it bothers me for him to continue friendship w/ her but not seem jealous. Also want to tell him hes a good guy and want to mention that i want to focus on our growing relationship.

I’m very glad that you got the closure you were seeking. It’s nice to obtain approval and acceptance of our feelings, particularly when they’re complex and confusing. However, now I do feel it’s important for us to move on together, away from that history and with every part of our lives focusing on us.

I don’t want to seem jealous, as I don’t feel that I am, but I don’t believe that it will help us if you maintain a friendship with [whatshername]. My concern is that it will be a continued distraction [or whatever your concern is].

You’re a great guy. I know you’ve been struggling with this but now I’d like to have that great guy for myself.
