How do I persuade the school paper moderator to choose me as editor-in-chief when this is only my first year?
Everyone says I should be the editor in chief but since the school paper moderator, which is a teacher is new, she doesn’t know me well enough yet. This is only my first year in joining th organization so I’m having a hard time persuading her. How do I persuade her to make me one when I do not have the “credentials” she is looking for – like published works on the previous editions, how long I have been a member, etc. I really do want this position and I strongly believe that I have enough strength and capabilities to do this. What other things should I write in my essay to persuade her to choose me? thanks so much.

Maybe you need to re-fresh on your grammar. Your sentence is grammatically incorrect.
“but since the school paper moderator, which is a teacher is new, she doesn’t know me well enough yet.”
should be written as
“but since the school paper moderator, who is a new teacher, doesn’t yet know me well enough….”
or
“but since the school paper moderator is a new teacher, she doesn’t know me well enough.”

Well, you need to convince the moderator that you deserve it…maybe you need to learning to write articles…you also need to read as much as you can…being an editor is a great responsibility…check these links:
