Typically, the loan situation can swing either way. Some may ask about your criminal history, some may not. For those that don’t, don’t offer that information to them b/c apparently that is not a criteria for basing your eligibility. If they do ask, you have the decision to either omit that answer or be honest. If you are honest, don’t assume that you’re screwed. I’m sorry, but I think you have to do it the hard way and save up. I’m happy that you’ve turned your life around, but I’m happy that the money will go to those who’ve gone the straight and narrow and didn’t resort to drugs. That’s the truth.
