Help with a letter…10 pts best answer..?
Im a currently a college student who will be returning back to school in the fall. I have recently recieved my college financial aid award letter and are now aware that i do not have enough money for the school year (2007-2008). To be safe the school has advised that i take out a 3,400 dollar stafford loan. Though this loan will help, i have already tooken out a loan for last years tutition and room and board fee. I no longer want to you use a loan for the majority payment for my schooling. I was wondering if you knew of any agencies or businesses around the stockton/sacramento area that would be willing to help out a college student.
what can i do to make this sound better?…examples are welcomed..Thanks In advance..

I’m writing to learn if you can direct me to assistance in seeking additional college tuition funding.

Would you be aware of any agencies or businesses around the stockton/sacramento area who would be willing to help out a college student? Thank you in advance!
Sincerely,
PS – is there a reason that you don’t want to take out another loan? Thousands of college students end their education deeply in dept (I know my friend’s sister will owe $65,000 when she finishes law school). How can you make your plight/plea more compelling? Could your academic advisor point you in the direction of some grants?
GOOD LUCK!
