anywhere from 12 to 16 credit hours a semester is considered full time. Some crazy people do more than 16 a semester but I wouldn’t recommend it and some colleges wont let you. If you were going to the class, instead of taking it online, if you spent 4 hours in class that usualyl equals four credit hours.
Just an FYI, ( i know you didn’t ask this question). They say you will need about 3 to 4 hours of time studying/preparing for class for every credit hour you take. Even, if this doesn’t seem like the case be prepared. If you have never taken a college course or online course before I recommend only taking one class your first semester. After you see its demands/ time constraints plan further semesters according to your schedule.
If you applied to this college they should have an academic advisor you can meet with or email regarding what classes you need to take. Most colleges have a form that lists what needs to be taken for you program ( which may be available online). You probably will have to take a some basic courses butusually they give you choices within categories. ( i.e. science- you can take physics, chemistry, biology etc.)
Good Luck
Credit per hour means exactly what it is. if a class is 4 hours, you will get 4 credits depending on how much credit they give per hour in that college.
you get charged for college when they send you the bill. you dont have to worry about thast b/c they will not let you attend unlss you paid ur bill. however, you should find our if you get finanacial aid by filing a FAFSA at fafsa.ed.gov.
hope it helps!
