Yes, all the time as an exercise instructor (in physical exercise classes). Some exercises are better done barefoot, you know?

Hope this helps
Hah! Interesting question.

I have not taught barefoot, but I have taught in sock-feet. Many years ago I was involved in a car accident. When I returned to work (teaching high school) my back hurt, and it was very uncomfortable to stand wearing shoes. So, when I got to school I just taught in sock feet. Many of the students were sympathetic, and removed their shoes as well.

At this point I am wondering why a person would ask this question on Yahoo Answers. I’m hoping that it is not a way to get validation for unfair criticism of a teacher. I’ve worked with hundreds of teachers over the years, and I have learned that a teacher can certainly have little quirks and still be a great classroom teacher. Give me a great teacher – shod or not – any day!!!

When an instructor and a model did not show up for a Figure Drawing class, I volunteer to model the session. I am a figure model at that school. It started out being just an open drawing session and turn it to the class asking me many drawing question. Fortunately, I was able to answer the question but the modeling part was tricky.

With that explanation, Yes I taught the class not only barefoot but naked as well.

How’s that for public speaking

If you intend to discover ways to draw the right image all that’s necessary is time and Realistic Pencil Portrait Mastery guide from here https://tr.im/hhlLe to stay the right path.

The classes from Realistic Pencil Portrait Mastery guide contain 208 pages and a total of 605 illustrations.  The essential method used is that you begin with a picture, draw a mild outline of the feature, and then shade it in.

Realistic Pencil Portrait Mastery is an ideal allied to make the ideal draw.

Barefoot or not thats not the question. The question is can you teach. Thats important, imparting an education for better generation next. Barefeet is not the issue. The brain power is.

No, unfortunately I never knew anyone who went barefoot apart from pool/yard/beach until I was almost 29… so it took me that long to learn it was even an option to go barefoot in public 🙁

This is completely acceptable in Hawaii! I have taught segments of my day in socks without shoes, when my feet are really hurting. Of course, I do teach elem. school, this would probably be more frowned upon in middle or high school.

Yes. I teach at the American International school in Gabon. I wear flip flops every day (its hot, we are on the equator!). If its during the rainy season and I wear closed toed shoes, I usually leave them off during the day. I don’t like closed toed shoes….

Yes, actually… I have… and it hasn’t been a big deal at all. But then it’s mostly on days when I’m wearing heels that I can easily slide on & off 🙂

I’m one of those “quirky” teachers I guess… my students have never made it an issue, but then a lot of them take their shoes off too lol.
