guyz..please answer my question.. what can say when you hear the word “Igorot”?

I take it you mean ignorant? Is someone saying that to you? Cads, that’s wot they are….cads.

Igorot (pronounced [ɪgəˈrot]) is the general name for the people of the Cordillera region, in the Philippines island of Luzon. The Igorot form two subgroups: the larger group lives in the south, central and western areas, and is very adept at rice-terrace farming; the smaller group lives in the east and north. Some Igorot groups formerly practiced headhunting.

Aside from beauty, intelligence and boldness, I think of Mylee Ang aka “Gwen Garci” who is half Igorot. Her mother is Igorot and Mylee (Gwen) is from Besao Mountain Province. I met her grandmother, Dutmug, when I was in Baguio in 2004. This is 100% truth!!!

it depends on social status. if you think they are like ignorant monkey, then you are a poor filipino. if you think of them as an ethnic group living in the cordilleras, then you are rich and educated
