Forms of Germen Study Visa?

First of all, it depends on where you are from. For example, if you are from the U.S. then you have until three months after your arrival to obtain a visa. However, sometimes you have to have a visa before you come to Germany, which depends on where you are from.

Basically in order to have a study visa then you need the following evidence:

1. Financial proof that you have money while you are studying. Proof can come from a letter from your financial aid office in your university or a bank statement.

2. Proof that you have been accepted into the university, which is the official letter of acceptance.

3. Proof that you have health insurance. You can’t study at an university if you don’t have health insurance.

4. Copy of your passport and have your passport ready.

5. Fill out the form that they give you.

Finally, you hand these items in with the form that you have to fill in. They will look over it and depending on how money that you will receive then you may have to pay for your visa (I paid 55 Euro). If everything is in order then they will put your visa in your passport and you can study!
