does the University of Florida offer…?

The University of FL does not have an accredited social work program. There are a number of programs that do in FL and you may wish to look at these schools (you can find the list of accredited programs at CSWE.org). Social work is certainly a much more practical degree than sociology. With a BSW from an accredited program you can get jobs working with youth, adults and older adults in a variety of settings. You can also apply for advanced standing in most MSW programs. DA

Yes UF offers a bachelors and masters in social work. What kind of proof are you looking for? I suggest you look on their website.

Social Workers tend to work in non-profits, for the government, or for agencies like the department of children and families.

Sociology majors tend to go on and get their graduate degrees- they may end up teaching or end up studying society in general for publications
