Does band help math skills?
I want to have a carrer in astronomy, but you have to be good in math and physics. I have no problem in physics because science is my best subject. I have advaced classes in math, but it’s my weakest subject.(Ironic in my opion) I abosulty loath math, unless its geomatry. I heard that band makes your math skills better. Is this true?

thats very stupid, not at all, i know this sounds pessimistic, but math is a subject you just have to be good at naturally, some ppl are good at it and otherrs wreek, thats just math for you.. but im sure you can pull it off with alot of hardwrok!!

i’m a band geek and it hasn’t for me. I don’t know about other people though. Counting and time signatures are the only things that deal with numbers at the very least.
