Does anyone know what map coloring is?Its on my daughter’s school supply list and I have no clue.?

I had the same thing on our supply list. “Map pencils” is just an old-school term for colored pencils…and yes they do use them to color maps, as well as do diagrams and charts, etc.

I googled “map coloring” and found them listed on school supply lists as Crayola map coloring pencils. I’m guessing they want a box of colored pencils. Call the school and ask or find someone who had that on their supply list last year and check with them.

Googled it and it said something about: Crayola map coloring pencils. So maybe they want you to buy “coloring” pencils for the “map.” Hope it helps.

map coloring is where they shade in items on the map to mean or show specific things I did it last year!

Maybe they mean colored pencils to color maps? Otherwise I have no clue what that would be…

that just means colored pencils.

kids dont use them to actually draw maps until like freshman geography class lol but oh well.
