Medication is not the answer. This is to only assist the child in focusing his attention so you, the school, and a therapist can help to remediate his skills. Are his skills low in academics or social situations? Behavior contracts, token economies, social stories and other techniques are helpful.

Look at medication if you haven’t already. It is a medical problem

so treat it with meds. When the child begins to settle down, you will know that you are on the right track.

It would be touch and go until you find the right med and amount.

He will never learn if he is always living in the moment.Stabize the problem first.
