Do you find yourself rereading your answers and editing fhem?
I know I do. And I’m not even close to being the anal retentive type. Is it just me? Or is it widespread?

The weird thing is that the spelling mistakes jump in my face only after I hit the Submit button…I could not see them during the Preview phase….must be a blind spot somewhere.
And yes, once you read your answer, then you realize you forgot an important point, so you go back in there and try to fix it…
For me, an answer is a work in progress…
It sounds like a dishonest practise.
But, on the other hand, if you want to correct mis-statements it is OK. If you throw an unnecessary word, like “NOT”, into it, it is honest to remove the mistaken word.
Ultimately, what I am doing here is not gathering points, or “best answer” awards (though I do have some).
What I try to do is share my heart and mind with YOU and others.
Maybe something I say may bless a person on line.
Improving answers is a form of cheating on the “best answer” competition…but if it is your intention to just communicate your heat & mind more clearly, “fixing” your answer (after the fact) is OK with me!
I like your stuff though…. and at times very humorous.
Yes I read my answers again, to see how I fared, but not to add or correct my spelling. But if you do, so be it.
tooooooooo OK
Stooge did ya smell it?
It’s hard not to, seeing as most of the questions here are marginally readable. I’m just hoping most of the people on here are 3rd graders and not adults incapable of constructing a sentence.
If I see mispelled words, I absolutely have to fix them. I cannot stand not spelling properly.
Sometimes even additionally adding a bunch more text after I’ve submitted the original question. :).
