I agree with it, in a way. There’s nothing wrong with wishing. Like if you buy a lottery ticket and spend a minute or two on the way home thinking what you might do if you won lots of money, how it would change your life, etc. Some people buy lottery tickets just to do that!
But wishing doesn’t actually change anything or accomplish anything real. If you want something to happen, you have to MAKE it happen. Your initiative is what counts. Thats what the saying means.

Same. I agree and believe with this quote. You should work for that specific wish and not just wait till it will happen cuz it wont until you do something about it.

Somewhat. Every now and then you have to wish or daydream for stuff. If you didn’t, then how would you know what to work you little behind off for?

no not at all, your wishes show (sometimes) what you are passionate about…if you wish the next step is trying to figure out what to do about it and discovering your passion certainly is not a waste of time…unless you love killing people…but in some cases it can be, but it all depends….but i dont really agree with it…

I agree. You can’t wish yourself into happiness. You have to do the work to get there. How can you do the work if you’re daydreaming?

sometimes… possibily
often, the time spent thinking (wishing) about something that’s importan to you helps you to forcus and often helps obtaining
whatever it is you’re wishing for.
