Cosmetology School?
I am going to be starting Cosmetology School in a few months and am very excited. Anyone have any tips on what I should expect or what it was like. Did you like it? I am looking forward to it. I love to do hair/makeup….all that stuff so I think I will do really well.

My sister-in-law attended and graduated, but afterwards didn’t pursue the career. She was so indebted from the loans to attend school and couldn’t build her clientale to support her.
What I got from her is that the class is not all about glamour. There is a huge emphasis on the science of hair care and skin care that is a part of the curriculum. Chemical mixing is one full week of study. And understandably so.
Be prepared to learn the mechanics as well as the superficial stuff that we see on Shear Cut.

I will be going ot Cosmetology school too. I don’t know what to expect but I know that everything is hands-on. We also have to buy our own stuff like brushes and make-up etc etc. I’m so excited!!!
