The interesting thing about the Integrated resort idea is Singapore will have two theme parks competing against each other so the prices will have to be competitive and the entertainment side strive to maintain an edge.

necessary evil. it gives employment to many and destroy some, maybe not many lives. there are various safeguards agst losers / gambli-holics even in vegas where the gaming addicts are not allowed in. so dont worry abt gambling spreading. the greater good seems to be better. of course lilfe is like this – win some lose some. definitely few individuals / families will be wrecked, even without casinos as gambling is everywhere
