can someone tell me the meaning of “bent and broken”?

also when you say “i’l bend but i wont break”

It would help if we had the context of these phrases.

“Bent and broken” means exactly what it says; but it could also mean “defeated and humiliated”.

“I’ll bend but I won’t break” means that you’ll struggle and adapt to circumstances but you won’t fail or be defeated.

I believe the phrase “I’ll bend but i wont break” means that if someone is having you do something you are not OK with, by bending you can compromise but you will not completely give in “or break” to someones will. Hope this helps
